The application of this product is limited to mild and moderate infections caused by penicillin-sensitive pathogens, such as tonsillitis caused by group A streptococcus, scarlet fever, erysipelas, streptococcus pneumoniae pneumonia, boil and carbuncle caused by penicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus, as well as angina. It can also be used to treat leptospirosis, regression fever and early syphilis.
